My first smoke of the year.

Ma première bouffée de l’année.

A week that the temperature does not rise above zero degrees. The mist of the plain no longer dissipates, letting the snow-capped peaks shine in the sun.

For the first day of the year, I'm taking out my favorite pipe, a Montreal Blatter & Blatter donated by a friend. I smoke a mixture that I made earlier. 65% Virginia, 20% Perique and 15% Ohio Duch fermented. The aromas of smoke escaping from the fireplace dance harmoniously in this winter scene. What a beautiful gift from the earth and from the hand of man.

Thank you all for your valuable advice. Long live FTT and happy new year 2020 to all these members!

Smoking air-cured Delhi 34 in a Peterson. Currently -22°C. Waiting for the train. I think only a few of you know this. I've been a weld inspector for 22 years but have been working on a bachelor of arts in psychology part time for a number of years. I quit my job of 22 years as of last week and am currently in my last semester. I've moved into a condo to downsize in preparation for going to grad school. This is why I'm not gardening. I still have a car, but It's also why I'm not driving.
