Didn't really turn out the way expected , with a little messup on the way but this about what it looks like when I use my ''homemade motordriven grinder ''

I did the same thing to My pasta roller. I put a Dewalt on the crank and set it on one with the clutch on 4. I also use the ROYAL 112MX office shreader as well. Good idea. That would work great for snuss. Don't break Your arm with it.

That sort of stuff only happens when you point a camera at it, or the boss shows up.

There could likely be something in what you say leverhead.
On top of everything the connection between grinder/drill snapped right of just after the video closed itself.......

Was it the auger shaft? Maybe the hopper was too full and the auger couldn't take the strain in side. That drill is pretty big for that puppy. Thats why I use the clutch on Mine but that is diferent than the pasta roller. I hope I don't do that to Mine.

I hope you can fix her.
Just a idea for your bike do you have a wire basket you can mount to your handlebars?
It might take a few trips tho if you are not in a hurry.

Just go what We call native here. Two wood poles and a sling in the center and drag it. LOL No wheels and no probs.........I think the one grinder is a donner. (cast iron) use the other one.Cost more to replace it than a new one. LOL LOL LOL

Can't see any reason to go that native MO , think your original idea was much better.
I like that grinder , will fix it up in a jipee and go again.

BT : Think I know what you mean but it would take too many trips for me to make.
Another week to harden off the plants and get them exposed to more sun then I'd be off to the patch ( in some way) , might even rent a car , we'll see.....

PO, You are the man. I like the way You think. Just a little humor for You there LOL. I like that cart blue print I found for You. I will build one for My concentric I posted for You. The back has a small bed on it and will hold four bags of groceries. But the cart can do far more with less weight. Now I am glad I found it for You- Thanks. Now did You leave the forward peice on the grinder for meat or change it? I may make one out of Mine as well. Its just setting in a box. I have been useing a blender for My snuff.

Right on target MO , I tried the blender too , bought a brand new one for less than 100 bucks but it couldn't grind the midrib so I gave it away for free to The Red Cross........
'' My '' grinder was repaired today and ended up with me leaving the tap ( for thread ) inside the the grinder instead of a screw since the tap is stainless it might not snap that quick.
The holeplate is naturally put in its place where it should be , grinded the rest of what was in that paperbag today , easy peasy japanense.
And I was down to the store lookin' at some different kinda wheels to eventually make a cart ( not decided yet )

You have got to post some pics for Us to see. Get some with the baccy on the way to the feild as well. So how do the plants look after the help from the wind at this time?

I think they are almost as large they can be as seedlings , most of them as a matter a fact , 2 varieties are way behind the others and they are rusticas. The others are on their way to fall overboard.
Will probably post a few pics this weekend since I take this as a request......

I have had a few take a stall, It's just the type. Some come out of the shoot like a bull and some like a slow dog.

Taps are pretty brittle, if you break it off it will be hard to get out. You might try a good grade of socket head cap screw, you could use a ball end hex wrench (cut off) in the drill to drive it. The ball end on the hex wrench will allow 15-20 degrees of misalignment and might make it smoother to drive.

I agree with LH. Taps do not have a lot of shear strength/are brittle. The hex bit is a good idea, also consider making some type of clamp to hold the drill in line with the grinder so that there is no "side load" on the shaft when it is turning.

So , this is the way it came to be with me and my plants ridin' out to my patch with just a bike.
I've been out plantin most of the weekend , doin 4 different strains of Rustica C-93 , Brasilia , 1000 year old baccy and TW 117.
Ok , a few leaves snapped of but overall the hole idea as it was did succed , its been just like in the summertime over herewith degs ranging between 70-80 F and full SUN ofcourse.
I was reminded VERY CLEARLY that I'm not 25 any more , more like 52 , made me have some heavy muscle soreness after the first day.Back amd neck especially......
Gonna continue next week and do the rest of my Rusticas and begin to plant the Tabacums aswell.
What would you guys call the black thing I have on my rack ?
A sheath ?
Anyhow , it is used by bricklayers AND Baccagrowers.

Told You tobacco was healthy! I like that better than the board LOL . I could not figure out how You were going to do it but That one got it done LOL. They look like they are going to the candy store! HA HA HA - Very nice. Did You save the pdf and print out the cart plans for later? I did and am making one as well. 25 or 52 , I'm making snus out of Don's Latakia since Friday at 240 F for a week.

MO , what one should prioritate I think would be to secure the cups so they don't flip around or is turned over by a bump or somethin' else.

Got Ya buddy. This one I can do for You: Two ways
1 take that foam behind the couch and cut it in 4 inch strips(not sure metric) tuck them long wise between the cups and the sides as well. Put a layer in the bottom and Yer done.
2 Measure out on a board -the center of holes, then make holes large enough to set cups in but not fall through. set that on the foam.
How was that?
That way they are good for the ride. And won't fall out.
