Gavroche, I'm infatuated with your posts. It's awesome seeing your landscape, I wish one day to visit France!

Good luck with the tobacco grow!

I already have flowers which arrive and feet are small between 50 cms and 90 cms
When flowers arrive, the growth is finished? Ily also a problem on certain sheets(leaves) (photos)

Welcome Michibacy , my home is open if you come in France.

Once actual blossoms appear, then you can expect no more new leaves. The leaves may continue to grow larger for a week or two.

For the disease, look at the IPM Images web site.

I Think so too Gavroche. I most say thank you for the seed you sent me. So far they are one of this year's best looking variants in my growing. The leaf's ain't so wide but really nice looking (and interesting).

I have also got some evidence of weather fleck on all my Nicotiana Tabacum varieties this year. I suffered from it two years ago - but last year the plants were clean! I suppose the seasonal conditions will affect the air quality differently year on year.

I'm so sorry for you Gavroche! Yes an Annus Horribilis for Europe in more ways than just the weather!

Anyway ... I admire your spirit in still trying to get some kind of a crop.

I have some Photos one my phone, can put up some here on FTT later (or send you in private). Have some problems with laying out pictures.. Your plant can still have a chance if they ain't need to long time to grow up and maturity. I have a really bad growing year this year even if the weather looks almost perfect..

This is an interesting thread. You have a beautiful home and garden. I'm glad your plants made it through the flooding. Good luck with your season buddy!

They are coming along nicely Gavroche. Good job. I'm surprised they are doing so well in that much shade and with tree roots so close. You have a magic green thumb.

Green, green,...super green.
A lot of wrapper. In the end you will colect some tobacco after all the troubles you have.

You should grow some salad aside for slugs next year. LOL

Beautiful sight indeed, like the others say. Reminds a bit of that early 20 century picture deluxe stogie posted on the first page of that Indonesian tobacco thread of the tobacco in the Cuban mangrove forest. The Gold Leaf is pretty elegant yes, neat plant!
