Every cigar is different, I use havana 142, guatemalen, huehuetenago, mcy, Dark fire cured, and burley either as single varietys or mix them up. I also add a strip or 2 of virgina flue cured to give my cig. flavor and its mellow in a cigar, Bursa and ottoman after this yr.and many more. Its been awhile since I had any oriental but the bursa and orinaco blanco went over well with me. My cigars may be unortodox but they smoke well and are inhalable. I try to wrap with a good shade leaf wrapper, sun grown works better if its kilned awhile, or a havana 142. They seem to work best for what I have to work with. Some times I'll spice it up with some other special leaves obtained from other members as well as some of the above listed varietys. I'm just now starting to figure out what works for me. The dark fire cured is a good leaf as it seems to mellow out more robust varietys.
