Damn, what a rose bush. I didn't realize it was so big from your other pictures. That's going to be a job taking that thing out. I think you're on the right track by burning it.

Burn roses

Seriously tho...have you looked into rocket stoves? Easy to build and very efficient. Not sure if it would suit your purposes and haven't read the thread to see if it was mentioned.

In the sucker grow, you have to follow the same procedure as for "mother" plants, right? Wait till they blossom, and after 1-2 weeks start to harvest leaves.
Do the suckers have a less longer life?

I go more by color and texture than time after bud. The rose bush has been a thorn in my side for a while now. The old frount yard patch is 6 or 7 years old and will go back to grassfront yard 006.JPG The suckers I have left in the back patch.front yard 007.JPGfront yard 008.JPG.Im tryin to let thease get very ripe but they need to be cut soon.

I dont know what a rocket stove is. A wood fire is what I know so I like to stay with that for safety.

Rocket stove is a wood stove. It's a homemade stove that is amazingly efficient. Doesn't take up much space (referring to earlier comment on Buck Stove). There is tons of information on search and you tube. Takes scrap wood pieces, pretty amazing design. Have no idea if it will work for your application. You all are so into improvise and diy just thought you might be interested.

It works very well for lowerin RH when it rains for a few days That was what I put it in thar for. I also think it speeds up midrib dryin.

It was a great solution to problems you were having that would have gotten worse without the heater.
