After using a Lexan "barrel", I would say that it makes no difference at all.How big a difference would you think it makes if one uses a wodden barrel ( whiskey) or one made out of somethin else ?
It is a old grape press. I have the bucket that is made out of the slats also.To me, it looks like part of an old cider press.
I though it only took a year. It is bubbling black gold now I hope that is a Good thing.I'll anxiously await your finished product... several months from now..![]()
The water is just over the top of the plug, just about even with the plug. The bubbling makes it look higher.I think it is to much water? You should see it just below or less on the thick round oak plug You used BT. Mad-
Thanks Bob, Good to know. There is almost 25 plants in that bucket. It would be a bummer to lose it all.The mold will not grow beneath the surface of the liquid.
