Are the long narrow leaves typical for the Ohio, or possibly a side effect of the close spacing?

Na..everything grown close has had pretty much minimal damage. .besides against corrugated iron or rubbing on fences etc.the thin leaves are typical of Dutch ohio. .and little dutch looks the same. .but mine only grew to about a metre from planting late in November
