Sure am , and of myself too , choosing the method of soilization for the plants to grow in.
Found out about this Swedish guy who was burying organic matter deep down in the soil opposed to surface fertilization.
I think this way of growing and the use of Calcium nitrate have made them into what they are today
.
Anyone who is interested can read more about it right here on pages 23-25 :
http://skurupsborren.se/March-1.pdf
Or check out this video if you like : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BtGstVZeEsU ( Its a pretty dull video , at least is that what I think )
Dig a hole , a feet deep or more.......
Fill it with weed or what u want
Put a stick in the hole so u know where your new soil is
Done , will eventually be used next year

I guess that kind of organic matter will stole the N of your land before it can be released again, it will work better if you use decomposed organic matter, bat and worm poo mixed with vegetable compost

The green organic matter will need N to decompose and that will take a few months, so when those nutrients finally become available it will be winter, and your plants will no longer be there, don't get me wrong I understand what your are doing, and I agree, that's the way to go, but its a question of timing.
you would be better building a compost box.

I give back what nature/soil has given me , what can be more natural than that ?
When this summer of 2014 is over every plant will start to rot , even the tobacco will do so.
The difference is that all them nutrients will take its way to the sky while mine woun't.
When N takes to the sky you have something called The GreenhouseEffect , that is what will happen if I build a compostbox , so I'll never do that.
Using this here method of soilization most of the nutrients will stay put in the ground.
The holes I drilled and filled with organic matter last year , I can now enjoy the fruits of that work.

Do you add new green stuff to each hole every year? If it gets better each year, how do you know when there is enough in there before you get too much?

This toad had fallen into one of the holes overnight , but I managed to rescue him/her using my long arms......

There should be fish in the holes, not Toads. :D

Toads should be composted first.

I know Knucks , one gal at one of our forums here used a pork chop and cracked an egg or more in a hole to make her plants grow better.........:D
Was feeling sorry for that toad an wanted it to live.
